Will Richardson, a senior guard at Bergen Catholic High School, has committed to Fordham.
He considered Iona and Wichita State as well as being the No. 21 combo guard in the 247Sports.com Composite.
The Bronx is going to love this kid, PSA Cardinals coach Kamau Joyner said. Fordham has undoubtedly established themselves as one of the best guards in the Northeast. Will is a slick young man who can score in teams or orchestrate your offense.
Will Richardson will be mentioned as one of the top guards in the A10 conference in years to come, according to the coach.
Richardson recently told Stockrisers: My game can best be described as a crafty-guard who can create space for himself and his teammates and Im also ot he teammate that really loves to win.
Richardson is the first commit in the Class of 2022 for first-year coach Kyle Neptune, the former Villanova assistant who was on Jay Wrights staff for the national championships in 2016 and 18.
Neptune has been building team bonding with his current team through paintball, a boating trip around New York City, and even spotting the Metropolitan Opera.
