A Gas Explosion Occurred In A Multi-Story Building In The Darnytskyi District Of Kyiv
A gas explosion occurred on Sunday in a residential building in the East of Kyiv, the shock wave damaged apartments on four floors at once, according to the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies.
"On June 21 at 10: 00 in the Darnitsky district on Grigorenko street, 41 in a nine-story residential building, an explosion occurred, according to preliminary data of a gas-air mixture, followed by the collapse of the floors 4, 5, 6 and 7 floors," - said in a statement on the website of the rescue Department. 75 rescuers and 15 pieces of equipment were involved to eliminate the consequences of the emergency.
Emergency services personnel found the body of a victim of a gas explosion while disassembling damaged structures in a residential building. "As of 11:00, one person was found dead. 21 people were evacuated, and three were released," the report says.
The explosion of a gas-air mixture in a ten-story building in Kyiv occurred around 10: 00 on Sunday. Partially collapsed ceilings of four floors. The most serious damage was caused to apartments on the sixth and seventh floors.
