Eurovision 2021 Will Take Place In Rotterdam

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has confirmed that the International Eurovision Song Contest will take place in 2021 in Rotterdam (the Netherlands), according to the announcement during the special show Europe Shine A Light.

The contest website informs that the review will be held in the Ahoy concert hall. Dates for the semi-finals and final will be announced later.

It is already known that 18 of the 41 musicians and bands announced to participate in Eurovision 2020 will represent their countries in 2021.

The 65th Eurovision song contest was scheduled to take place from 12 to 16 May at the Ahoy concert hall in Rotterdam under the slogan "Open Up." Russia was supposed to be represented by the band Little Big with the song Uno. on March 18, the EMU decided to cancel the competition this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Instead of the final show on Saturday, broadcasters showed a special show "Europe lights up" with the participation of contestants from different years.
