Khabib Nurmagomedov's Father Came Out Of A Coma
Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the father and coach of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, came out of a coma after heart surgery, the 360 TV channel reports.
He clarified that Nurmagomedov Sr. caught a cold after visiting the construction site of a sports base near Makhachkala.
"My brother told him: "Go call a doctor." Not cause. Only when it became very difficult, they called a doctor. They were taken to the Second city hospital, where they received intensive treatment," Rabadanov added.
Earlier, the media wrote that the honored coach of Russia and master of sports Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is suspected of having a coronavirus infection. Last week, it became known that he was taken by special transport from Dagestan to Moscow and hospitalized in one of the capital's clinics, after which Nurmagomedov Sr.'s condition deteriorated sharply.
"He woke up today. I haven't spoken yet. Yesterday I was in a coma after heart surgery," he explained.
According to Rabadanov, Nurmagomedov Sr. is now in a Moscow military hospital. No one is allowed to see him. Doctors are in full control of the situation and monitor the patient's condition.
He also recalled that Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov caught a cold after spending two weeks on the construction site of a sports base near Makhachkala. When he returned home, he did not go to the doctors at first.
