Apple Introduced An Updated Version Of The MacBook Pro With A 13 Inches Screen Diagonal
Apple has introduced an updated model of its MacBook Pro laptop with a screen diagonal of 13 inches. The relevant information appeared on Monday on the official website of the company.
The updated 13-inch model of Apple's flagship laptop contains a modified keyboard called Magic Keyboard, which was previously introduced in the MacBook Pro version with a 16-inch screen and MacBook Air.
The new keyboard has improved the mechanism responsible for pressing keys, according to the company's specialists. A notable change to the keyboard was also the return of the physical Esc button, which was moved to the Touch Bar in 2015 models. As specified, the Touch Bar and the Touch ID fingerprint recognition system will be saved in the new keyboard.
The laptop is available in two colors (silver and gray). It is equipped with a Quad-core Intel processor of the tenth generation, which will increase its performance by 2.8 times. The 13-inch MacBook Pro will get 16 GB of RAM by default, but users will be able to increase it to 32 GB. The maximum capacity of the SSD is 4 terabytes.
The cost of the updated MacBook Pro model will be $1,299. A model intended for educational use will be available for $1,199. The new product goes on sale in the United States from Monday, May 4. The start of sales in Russia is not specified.
