Sony Has Identified Those Responsible For The Mass Leak Of The Last of Us Part II
Information about this was shared by Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier.
He said that the leak was organized by a group of hackers. They found a weak spot in a patch for one of the old Naughty Dog games and used it to gain access to the company's servers.
Earlier, there were rumors that the leak was organized by an offended employee who did not receive the promised payments from the Studio, but Schreier, following Sony representatives, denied this version. He stressed that conditions for employees were, on the contrary, improved against the background of the pandemic.
The release of the long-awaited The Last of Us Part II was planned for may 29, but these plans were changed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sony decided to postpone the release of the game until June 19, when, presumably, retailers will open stores.
