Biden Commented On The Accusations Of Harassment For The First Time
Joe Biden commented on the accusations of his former assistant Tara Reid of sexual harassment for the first time, according to the Associated Press.
Biden said that Reid's words about harassment are not true. "This has never happened," he stressed.
The Agency clarifies that this is the first public comment by a presidential candidate on the charges. The full version of the politician's speech will be shown on MSNBC.
Earlier on May 1, it became known about the reaction of US President Donald Trump to the accusations against his rival in the upcoming elections. The head of state said Biden should respond to the claims. According to him, these may be false accusations.
The allegations against Tara Reid were made public in mid-April. The woman said that she was sexually harassed by him almost 30 years ago. According to Reid, in 1993, a politician in one of the corridors of the Capitol without permission kissed her, touched her, and insisted on intimate relations. Reid told her mother, friend, brother, and former colleague about harassment.
