This week, rumors circulated that the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake might never be released. There are also conflicting reports from Embracer, the publisher.
In 2021, the remake of the legendary role-playing game "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Giant Bombs' Jeff Grubb provided additional thoughts on the new edition shortly after the release. Grubb stated that he does not expect the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake to ever be released.
Grubb isn't a secretive insider, nor is he just speculating in the dark. It would therefore be up to the Embracer Group to provide clarity in this regard.
The publisher will continue to list the remake.
Despite the fact that the Embracer Group is more likely to cause further confusion, we notice several projects that are in the works, including the remake of "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic."
Lars Wingefors, Embracer Group's CEO, avoided making a formal commitment to the remake during an investor conference. When asked whether the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is still in the works, Wingefors said he cannot comment on it at this time.
A statement that bolsters speculation about the upcoming title rather than defuses them. If there are any further information on this topic, please get in touch. The fact that development is anything but smooth was revealed last summer.

Jason Schreier, a regular well-informed insider and Bloomberg journalist, claims that the Embracer Group had decided to withdraw its trust from Aspyr Media, the original creator of "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic," as well as the remake of "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" with the previous one.
Schreier has been further alleged to be that we shouldn't expect the new edition to be released until 2025. Schreier's statements haven't been officially verified.
