According to the current annual report, the Embracer Group's publisher acknowledged that "Saints Row" remained below expectations. Despite everything, the publisher wants to keep going with the support it has planned.
The Embracer Group admitted that the last fiscal year had a bad result in its annual report for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2022/2023.
The Embracer Group attributes this growth primarily to several titles that sold below expectations, such as the dark science fiction adventure "Scars Above" or the reboot of the "Saints Row" series. "Saints Row" in particular faced a large number of difficulties and errors when it was released, as well as the associated ratings.
The Embracer Group did not provide us with specific sales figures for the relaunch of the open-world action series, but pointed out that "Saints Row" should not be given up.
Updates and additional content are planned.
Instead, the Annual Report states that Saints Row purchasers can expect continued support for the open-world title and "can look forward to a number of upcoming enhancements over the coming months that will further enhance the Saints Row gaming experience."
The Heist & The Hazardous is the first expansion to Saints Row, which includes new content as well as gameplay enhancements. More information about the offered content is here.
The "Doc Ketchum's Murder Circus arrives" DLC will be released in July, like the third Expansion Pass expansion in August. Unspecified story missions, enemies, and cosmetic items are expected for the third add-on.
