What is the plot of the upcoming season, and who would return to reprise their roles? Continue reading to find out more information.
Cast and plot of Ahsoka
As with most recent Star Wars movies, plot details are kept to a minimum, but that doesn't mean we don't have a pretty good grasp of where Ahsoka's story will take us next. Toward the end of her episode on The Mandalorian, Ahsoka's goal became quite clear.
Ahsoka explained that she was on the lookout for a bigger fish, the Chiss Imperial leader and major antagonist of the Star Wars Rebels. Despite tangling with a slew of Sith Lords and Inquisitors, Thrawn was one of the band of Rebels' most brutal and powerful opponents.
Both Thrawn and Rebels' protagonist Ezra Bridger vanished into the vastness of space, making Ahsoka, not only a continuation of Tano's tale, but also a direct sequel to Star Wars Rebels.
Natasha Liu Bordizzo will play Ahsoka, another prominent character from the Star Wars Rebels (voiced by Tiya Sircar) at the Star Wars Celebration. Both Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno are expected to play villains at this time. We will see what happens next.
Release Date for Ahsoka
Filoni's live-action series hasn't been released at a time, but it'll start as soon as next year, along with Season 3 of The Mandalorian.
The developers have not specified a specific release date for the following season, however, they have confirmed that it will be released in August 2023.
