Kyle Killen and Steven Kane directed Halo, a military science fiction television series based on the video game franchise of the same name. The executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Steven Kane, Kiki Wolfkill, Bonnie Ross, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Otto Bathurst, Toby Leslie, Kyle Killen, Scott Pennington, and Karen Richards.
Halo was released on Paramount+ on March 24, 2022, and the series has already been renewed for a second season. A portion of the series was shown at SXSW on March 14, 2022.

Plot and Cast of Halo
There's still plenty more to dig into with Season 1's 'Transcendence,' which is almost confirming the ongoing conflict between Earth and the Covenant. Also seen was Cortana (Jen Taylor) take control of Master Chief's body with Dr. Halsey escapeing the UNSC, establishing a fresh course for the main characters.
Executive producer Kiki Wolfkill kept the plot of Season 2 fairly quiet, but spoke of several key characters who might remain relevant. “I will say we like all three characters — the Master Chief, Soren, and Kwan — and they all have an interesting dynamic.
Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey, Bookeen Woodbine as Soren-066, and Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha are all expected to reprise their roles in Halo season 1.
Shabana Azmi will play Margaret Parangosky, Natasha Culzac will play Riz-028, Kate Kennedy will play Kai-125, Charlie Murphy will play Makee, Danny Sapani will play Captain Jacob Keyes, and Bentley Kalu will play Vannak-134.
The release date for Halo Season 2 has been announced.
Paramount had already announced that they would continue the Halo franchise after Season 1, but there is no specific release date as yet. It should be released in 2023.
