Lenny Bruce appears on stage in 1965 in San Francisco because of his remarkable abilities. Susie, Midge's manager, recognizes Lenny's special abilities and asks him to reconsider.
Susie meets Midge outside the venue, concerned about Lenny's condition. They break up and Susie is saved when Midge arrives. During a coffee discussion, Susie discusses her past and her relationship with Hedy.
Midge gets a chance to appear on The Gordon Ford Show as a result of Hedy's intervention. Joel (Michael Zegen) learns about it and gives her his consent to talk with him whenever he sees him during her performance. When Abe (played by Tony Shalhoub) receives word that Midge would be making an appearance, he rushes home to notify Rose, but she initially declines to record.
Mrs. Maisel Finale is a marvellous woman, and Gordon has fired Midge.
As the curtain rises, Gordon, our antagonist, begins planning his next move. Just as Midge begins to rise to new heights, he wonders if Gordon will succeed in dethroning her. Midge chooses to take the stage for the interview and grab the microphone to perform her routine.
Susie frantically searches the office, then shouts for Mike. Midge prepares herself and sits on the set stool, despite having a final four minutes of airtime.
Gordon conducts an interview with Midge, praising her as "the marvelous, the magical, the wonderful Mrs. Maisel." The conversation then switches to a six-month period when Lenny was attempting to instruct Midge on how to become famous to the best of his ability. They've had a wonderful evening together. The one and only night they spent together.
The fate of Midge and Susie's relationship is left in the open in the season finale. Will they end their lives together? The future is hazy, but one thing is certain: these two will always have each other's backs.
Midge explores her opulent home in 2005, where she has made a fortune as a comic book artist. As the night draws on, Susie finds herself in solitude. She calls Susie's number, which lives on the other coast. They have a lively phone chat, which they don't want to miss.
Midge and Susie rekindle their friendship over the phone with their traditional bickering and laughter. In the series' final episode, Midge discusses her day to Susie. Midge pleads with Susie to return to work. Susie is finally free.
