Daedalic Entertainment is expanding beyond The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is working on a second game based on Tolkien's universe, which should be available by August 2024, provided internal deadlines are followed.
The German Ministry of Economy is the source of the Atlas Fallen DLC. According to an official document, Germany has allocated just over 2 million euros to the development of a new game based on The Lord of the Rings.
According to the information provided, this is a new adventure that will engage the player in new directions and influences his decisions.
"Daedalic is developing a new experience that will take the player to a magical world" according to the attached document. "The player discovers entirely new areas and influences world events within his role and ability."
The hope is that this second installment of The Lord of the Rings, which has provided such a high level of entertainment to its players in previous installments as The Pillars of the Earth, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, and Goodbye Deponia.
