Adeline Rudolph, who made her acting debut in Netflix's Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, has been cast as Kitana.
Kitana is a Mortal Kombat II character who was first introduced in 1993. According to the game's lore, Kitana is related to Jade, a woman who will be played by Tati Gabrielle in Mortal Kombat 2.
Adeline Rudolph has appeared in several television series including Riverdale on the CW and Netflix's Resident Evil series. Hellboy The Crooked Man, a fresh Hellboy film reboot, is currently filming the female lead.
Karl Urban, who played Johnny Cage in The Boys earlier this month, will return as the director. Simon McQuoid, who directed Mortal Kombat in 2021, is currently unclear as to a release date.
