Xiaomi Introduced The New MIUI 12
Xiaomi has officially unveiled ITS new MIUI 12 branded shell for Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones. It received a new "flat" with new elements and redesigned animation.
Visual transitions, according to the developers, are no worse than in iOS, and navigation gestures, which appeared in MIUI 12, work exactly the same as gestures in Android 10.
The interface of the system and applications has become more "clean," with an increased distance between information blocks and a brighter background. In addition, it contains more visual elements that complement the text information.
Another new feature is the additional privacy features. One of them, Flare, warns the user that an app is using a camera, microphone, or GPS. Another, called Barbed Wire, allows you to allow the app to use your location, camera, or microphone once or multiple times, or, conversely, deny access. Finally, the Mask system prevents "unreliable" applications from accessing contacts, calendar, call logs, IMEI, and other sensitive data.
In addition, MIUI 12 has support for multi-window mode and picture-in-picture mode, as well as the ability to quickly respond to messages - responses based on the context are generated by artificial intelligence. The built-in gyroscope can be used not only to record steps but also for various exercises-running, Cycling. Registration of beta testers begins on April 27.
