The Little Mermaid live-action remake from Halle Bailey will be premiered exclusively for Disney Plus on the next 28th of April.
Peter Pan & Wendy's first trailer was released on Disney Plus earlier this week, and its filmmaker David Lowery has also been promoting the film by talking about some of its main characters.
Captain James Hook as played by Jude Law will be more complex.
Captain Hook is one of Disney's most popular villains, in addition to the ever-present peter pan foe: "We really wanted to understand why does Hook despise Peter Pan?" wrote the director in a Total Film magazine.
"Where does the anger come from?" said David Lowery, who wanted to create a story for the two protagonists.
Jude Law plays Peter Pan's Hook in this adaptation, which we saw recently in Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore's Secrets (2022). He was right to portray him because the mustache is so versatile and it may both be used to "break your heart."
David Lowery said that his live-action version of Peter Pan and Wendy for Disney Plus would be far superior to the cartoon, because you will stop liking their characters and there will be real conflicts between Peter Pan and Wendy.
