Studio Wildcard has announced the arrival of a new Ark: Survival Evolved version, which will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, Series S, and PC, as well as the reorganization of the previous generation. The Nintendo Switch will be the sole exception, however.
In reality, the situation for older players will be much less tragic than it might appear. Studio Wildcard has confirmed that Ark: Survival Evolved will still be available on private servers or, alternatively, in single-player. Players will therefore be able to stay on old-gen and have fun with servers created by them or by other users.
Ark: Survival Ascended is intended for those who do not like the story taken in the sequel, and it is less caciarone and more serious in some of the design choices, as well as more realistic in some of the changes, according to the software house.
"We feel it's important to provide players with a fully next-gen game experience that they can trust," says the author. These new games will include The Island and Survival of the Fittest, as well as several "non-canon" maps that will be released in the future.
Ark: Survival Ascended will be a cross-platform multiplayer video game that supports modding on all platforms in August this year. The game will be available for one year only in the Ark Respawned Bundle, which costs $ 49.99 and will include both Ascended and the sequel.
Ark 2 will not be released on the PlayStation platform at launch on PlayStation 5.
