A remarkable amount of leaks about AMD A620 chipset motherboards surfaced in March. According to some sources, their official announcement might take place as early as next week. Meanwhile, photos of another board appeared on the Web – Gigabyte A620M Gaming X.
The board is made in a truncated microATX format and has only one full-size PCI-E 4.0 x16 slot and one M.2 slot. However, there are still all four RAM slots and a small heatsink on the power node.
It must be recalled that AMD A620 chipset boards cannot overclock the processor, but they do allow you to modify the RAM operating modes, and they do not support PCI-E 5.0.
The recommended price for such boards is likely to be around $100.
