On March 31, 2023, an entry on the liquidation of the legal entity was made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. The Russian branch was founded by the Dutch company Electronic Arts Nederland BV with a 99% share and the German Electronic Arts GmbH with a 1% share. The authorized capital was 21,097,879 rubles.
American Electronic Arts suspended game sales and microtransactions in Russia and Belarus in March last year, following the lead of many others, until it became public in November. The company announced that it would no longer be in Russia, and an application for the liquidation of the legal entity was filed on October 3, 2022.
Electronic Arts is now actively optimizing activities: Apex Legends Mobile will be phased off, Battlefield Mobile will be phased off, Titanfall Legends will be terminated, and the single-player shooter Titanfall Legends will be phased off, bringing the total number of employees to 780.
