The Animated Series' first season, which consists of 14 episodes, has begun post production, therefore its release on a small screen would not be far away.
The release of ARK: Survival Ascended, a next-gen platform remaster of the original game, was announced today. Post-production is the last stage before broadcasting, where editing takes place, visual and sound effects are added, and so on.
Studio Wildcard said they're "delighted with the outcome, it's a melancholy epic love letter to dinosaurs, fantasy, and of course the ARK itself." More details on this will be revealed in the coming months, including the launch scheduled for the end of 2023.
Helena Walker, a 21st century paleontologist, is resurrected after dying in a mysterious primeval land. Here she must learn to survive and find new friends, or die again at the hands of brutal warlords, all while trying to unravel the truth of this strange new world.
Vin Diesel is the executive producer of the series, while among the voice actors we see Gerard Butler (300), Russell Crowe (Doctor Who), and Monica Bellucci, who will play Cassia Virila, a Roman noblewoman who lived under Augustus' Empire.
