Studio Wildcard has announced a change in their intentions. ARK 2, the sequel to the well-known survival game, will no longer be released until 2023. We will be able to get acquainted with the game no earlier than 2024. Moreover, this year we will not be shown gameplay, screenshots, or videos.
The developers realize that this news will deceive players, but they took this step in order to improve the project's quality. The Unreal Engine 5 engine that the studio is using is new to it, but the makers of the sequel intend to exploit all of its potential in creating an incredible epic game.
ARK 2 is being developed for the Xbox Series and PC. The game will be available on Steam and the Microsoft Store, where subscriptions will be able to get acquainted with it for free Xbox Game Pass.
