The Witcher's first part is codenamed Polaris and is written on Unreal Engine 5 and will be released in the series in about six years, according to studio representatives.
In a separate report on the company's earnings report, CD Projekt RED CEO Adam Kiczynski said the group is now working on the new Unreal Engine 5, which should make the development of the next trilogy quick and efficient:
CD Projekt RED has yet to announce an approximate release date for the new Witcher.
