The Quintessential Quintuplets, a new anime from the Negi Haruba manga series, has been announced earlier today. The new anime will cover the events that were left out of the original adaptation, which ended with a film last year.
For the next project, the cast of the original The Quintessential Quintuplets anime will be returning:
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Futaro Uesugi
- Ayana Taketatsu as Nino Nakano
- Ayane Sakura as Yotsuba Nakano
- Inori Minase as Itsuki Nakano
- Kana Hanazawa as Ichika Nakano
- Miku Ito as Miku Nakano
Tezuka Productions animate the first season of the anime adaptation The Quintessential Quintuplets in 2019, and Bibury Animation Studios takes over for the second season, which premiered in 2021. Bibury Animation Studios also animated the final film.
The quintuplets' past will now be revealed!!! While on a school trip to Kyoto, the sisters' relationships nearly go south as they vie for Futaro's affection, but they weather the storm, come out stronger for it, and enjoy the trip in the end.
This is not a joke about April Fools' Day.
