After Eva Marcille and actress filed for divorce last week, Michael Sterling has revealed that he wants to save their relationship.
Page Six issued a statement of Sterling via an attorney on Wednesday (March 29). "I am going to fight for her with every fiber in my being." I love her and I intend to demonstrate that our love is sufficient to cross over to the other side.
"I am not going to lose my wife."
After five years of marriage and having two children, the 38-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum filed for divorce from Sterling on March 23. The former America's Top Model winner claimed that their marriage was "irretrievably broken" and that there were "no prospects for a reconciliation."
"This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make," the star of All The Queen's Men said on Tuesday (March 28).
Marley, a 9-year-old girl, and Kevin McCall, according to the outlet, Marcille also requested child support and primary custody of their two sons.
"Our children are our top priorities, and the eight and a half years we have spent together will always be treasured. We request that you respect our privacy at this time."
She wants the court to grant her 'equitable division' of her assets and debt that she and Sterling have accumulated during their marriage. She is also asking for her own separate property.
The couple got engaged on Christmas Day in 2017 and got married a year later in October 2018.
