Headcannon, a developer who helped Sega with the original Sonic Origins, Sonic Mania, and other entries, has confirmed that it is working on Sonic Origins Plus. It cited its involvement in making Amy Rose and Knuckles a part of certain Sonic Origins Plus titles.
Amy Rose will be played in Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. Amy is a new addition to Sonic CD, according to an announcement.
The Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 re-releases are two of the company's previous Sega projects.
Sonic Origins Plus will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC on June 23, 2023. It may be purchased as an individual item or as a $9.99 upgrade for the original game.
