Square Enix has announced that Live a Live will be released in the near future on PS4, PS5 and PC. It will also be released on other platforms in 2022, although a demo will be available soon.

The demo includes the opening lines of three of the game's eight scenarios, each one set in a different time period with its own unique cast. The Wild West, The Distant Future and The Twilight of Edo Japan are some of the game's most famous scenes.

The full Live a Live demo includes eight time periods, all acting as their own mini-RPG. There are also seven of these scenarios in the final game, which may be played in any order.

Square Enix has also announced that pre-orders for the PS4, PS5, and PC will now be available for purchase. All pre-orders come with a 20% discount. The PlayStation version allows players to use both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game.

Live a Live was originally released for the Super Famicom in 1994. Last year's remake gave the game a "HD-2D" appearance, similar to Octopath Traveler. It was also the first international release for the game.

Live a Live is now available on Switch and will be released on PC, PS4, and PS5 on April 27, 2023.
