ESA officially canceled E3 2023 just a few minutes ago. Many well-known manufacturers had previously announced their absence from the trade show.
What has already been apparent in the last few days is now official: E3 2023 will not be held. Instead, there will be individual publisher presentations online, for example from Ubisoft, Microsoft, or Nintendo. Most recently, Sega and Level Infinite avoided attending a trade fair. It was anyway that Sony was represented.
The next big games fair will be gamescom at the end of August in Cologne.
