The latest generation E Ink Carta 1200 screen and IPX8 water protection were announced by PocketBook.
The 7.8-inch E Ink Carta 1200 screen has a resolution of 1404 1872 pixels and a pixel density of 300 PPI. The new technology allows for touch input and adaptive backlighting, which allows you to adjust both brightness and color temperature.
The reader has a 2-core processor, a 32-GB internal memory, and a Wi-Fi adapter for reading. It weighs 265 grams and measures 134 189.5 7.95 mm.
PocketBook InkPad 4 supports 21 book formats, four graphic formats, and six audio formats, and is connected to wireless headphones, speakers, and other audio equipment through Bluetooth.
The PocketBook InkPad 4 is IPX8 water resistant. It can withstand immersion in fresh water up to 2 meters deep for up to 60 minutes. The screen also has improved protection against scratches.
The PocketBook InkPad 4 reader will be available for purchase in early May 2023, for a cost of approximately UAH 12,000.
