The famous gaming show E3 has been around for over a decade, and over the past 20 years, Ubisoft has never missed a single one of them. Regardless, sooner or later everything comes to an end, and this tradition is no exception.
The publisher has announced that it would withdraw from E3 2023 and instead host its own event. Although initially planned, they were changed, ultimately they decided to take a different route.
Ubisoft Forward Live is a live broadcast of the company scheduled to be held in Los Angeles on June 12th. Despite its reputed insider Tom Henderson, the company would not have brought anything new there anyway – it was planned to highlight everything that had already been presented in one form or another before.
This event will kick off on June 13th and conclude on June 16th. It will be held in the same Los Angeles.
Ubisoft isn't the first big company to decline a seat at E3 this year. Previously, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony did the same thing.
