Volition's developers today described the following months' user experience as improved over the past few months. Various DLCs and free content are planned.
The Volition developers initially focused on improving the general gaming experience of "Saints Row" following the technically and playfully disappointing launch. In November of last year, for example, a large update was released with over 200 improvements.
The studio announced today that it would provide more post-launch support, noting that Saints Row players will receive a flood of new content in the coming months. Some of the content will be available for free, while others are part of the Saints Row Expansion Pass.
The release of Dead Island 2's next month will begin with a download pack that will provide free downloads to Saints Row owners.
Story missions, events, and more
In May, a free update will be released, including improvements to the battle system, a new photo mode, and a new district. The Heist and The Hazardous Pack are also expected to be released as part of the Expansion Pass, which includes new events, story missions, and other unspecified content.
The Murder Circus DLC for Doc Ketchum is coming in July this year, and new features and enhancements will be added to one of our favorite areas in Santo Ileso.
In the same month, the third expansion of the Expansion Pass will be released, bringing with them unspecified story missions, enemies, cosmetic items, and other content. The developers intend to provide more specific information regarding each update and DLC during the runtime.
