The Last of Us Parte I is now available on PC, but the players' reactions aren't the best. Through Steam, it is possible to see that the User reviews are mostly negative, with only 36% of 1,779 positive reviews at the time of writing. The reason? Poor optimization of the game, according to what players wrote.
One commenters cites Iron Galaxy's abilities and says the game is in poor condition, with jerky mouse camera movements, and other issues. Others describe several crashes, with the game reporting an error or completely freezing Steam or the whole PC.
Many gamers praise high-end gaming machines, such as the RTX 4080, which is struggling to maintain frame rates of over 60 frames per second. Some players say the game is excellent (probably because they have already played it) and that it should be improved.
Iron Galaxy's performance appears to be compromised, and the game is in need of further work. We'll have to see if Naughty Dog and Sony will make any announcements on the game's quality or not.
In the meantime, we leave you with the first teaser for Part I of The Last of Us.
