While riding a bike, keep an egg in a basket, and enjoy an eggcelerate! To the Tropics ...

Oh boy, do we have any eggciting news. No worries, we've only cracked one egg pun for this story, as the title of the game should suffice.

Tyre Bytes, the game's creator, is now releasing an egg-themed game called Eggcelerate! To The Tropics. It's a game that involves a motorbike and a basket, rather than running around.

The takeaway is that the trail is brimming with twisty turns and uneven terrain (that will rattle and shake the one egg you're supposed to be escorting) and you're racing against the clock. When an egg falls off and cracks, you'll notice it smiling side up on the terrain as you attempt another attempt, similar to blood stains seen in soulslikes.

No worries, the presentation here is all vibes, and the trailer has a wonderful tropical feel to it thanks to its music.

Eggcelerate! to the Tropics began its existence in a game jam, the LudumDare 46, held in April 2020.

Eggcelerate! to the Tropics will be released on PC (Steam) on March 30. A demo is available on the Steam page. The leaderboards section of the page is full of egg-ified racing driver names, including "Eggstreme McQueen," "Scrambled Hamilton," and "Poached Ricciardo."
