Epic Games has announced through their official social channels that there are only a few hours left for the maintenance that will enable the release of the update to the version 24.10.
Tomorrow, the free battle royale servers will be closed at 10:00 am Italian, on Wednesday 29 March 2023. Matchmaking will be disabled approximately 30 minutes before the start of maintenance to ensure that all games remain unfinished.
We do not know exactly how long the maintenance will take, but within an hour everything should be back up and running, since we are talking about a minor bug that shouldn't affect the game. As for what's new, we know for certain that the next weekly challenges will be introduced, as should the inevitable Egg thrower.
We encourage Fortnite players to recreate the original map while waiting to get all the details about the event and any free rewards.
