The famous gaming event E3 has been around for over a decade, and over the previous 20 years, French software giant Ubisoft has never missed a single one of them. Regardless, sooner or later everything comes to an end, and this tradition is no exception.
The publisher has announced that it would no longer be attending E3 2023 but rather host its own event. Initially, there were intentions to visit the upcoming exhibition, but nevertheless, they were changed, deciding to go in a different direction.
Ubisoft Forward Live is a live event scheduled for the 12th of June in Los Angeles. Despite the fact that, according to authority insider Tom Henderson, the company would not have brought anything new there if it had not already shown it in one way or another.
This year's E3 2023 will take place in the same Los Angeles as the 13th of June.
Ubisoft is not the first big company to decline to participate in this year's E3 event. Previously, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony did the same thing.
