Bloober TeamThe Polish studio that is currently working on the Silent Hill remake has issued a statement addressing two issues that have recently affected him: the information about the game's sales estimates and the development progress.
As you may recall, we discussed Bloober's promises of ten million copies as a realistic goal for Silent Hill 2, but the team claims that the original sentences had a different meaning than what we saw, and therefore there were some translation errors.
"Some recent statements have been decontextualized due to translation errors," the Bloober Team wrote in a Twitter post.
"Our messages did not contain sales estimates for specific titles. Silent Hill 2 projections spoke to the potential success of the kinds of games we are focusing on in the future."
"It is also false that Silent Hill 2 has been declared ready for release. Regardless of the stage of development, all of our efforts are focused on obtaining the highest possible quality for the finished product, the quality that Silent Hill 2's fans deserve."
"We recognize that players are eager for new information about Silent Hill 2: as soon as updates are available, we are certain that Konami, the publisher of the game, will share them with players."
