SEGA, Tencent, and other publishers will not be at E3 2023, so what will happen to the event? ...

The fate of E3 2023 is becoming more hazy. SEGA and Tencent have canceled their participation in the Los Angeles fair, increasing the number of publishers expected to participate in the June event.

According to IGN.com's data, "many people in the publishing/PR industry hadn't heard of anybody who was willing to participate with certainty", and there appears to have been a significant lack of communication between ESA and ReedPop.

The Digital Week has been announced in recent weeks, a week of digital events dedicated to the gaming world. No specifics were given, and the list of publishers who should take part in the event today is a mystery.

IGN.com has also informed us that "autres publishers intend to skip E3 but they have yet to make official announcements." If so, speculation that E3 2023 might be canceled, as feared by Video Games Chronicles' Andy Robinson, would continue.

There are currently very little guarantees, and we look forward to any comments from theESA on what should have been the E3 relaunch version.
