Another AAA game company named "Lighthouse Games" was named following a report that a new AAA studio named "Maverick Games" was founded in January. Both Lighthouse Games and Maverick Games were created by former developers from another game studio, Playground Games.
Gavin Raeburn, who played a key role in the Forza Horizon games, has founded Lighthouse Games, which is set to develop a triple-A title. “We should be expecting that we'll be producing something highly polished and technologically advanced," Raeburn stated in a recent interview with GamesIndustry.
Raeburn is also open to graduate applications and is interested in assisting local universities through the Lighthouse Games.
We'll likely hear from the studio for a while as Lighthouse Games is still in its early stages, but it's fun to see what Raeburn and his team have in store for gamers.
