Zendaya Receives a CinemaCons Star of the Year Award ...

Zendaya (Euphoria) was named the star of the year at CinemaCon's Big Screen Achievement Awards ceremony on April 27, 2023 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Zendaya has won the CinemaCon Star of the Year Award for her compassionate performance on the small screen as Rue in Euphoria and her performances on the big screen as Spider-Man: Far From Home, The Greatest Showman, and Dune.

CinemaCon is the national association of theatre owners' official convention. This year's event will be held April 24 – April 27.

Zendaya has won five Emmy nominations, two times in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category for her performance as Rue in Euphoria. She is the youngest woman to win in that category.

Zendaya was also nominated for three Critics Choice Awards, including two. She was also honored by the CCA with the SeeHer Award in 2021.

Zendaya has completed the production of a romantic sports drama called Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino (Bones and All, Call Me by Your Name) and starring Mike Faist (West Side Story) and Josh O'Connor (The Crown, God's Own Country).

The much-anticipated Dune: Part Two will premiere on November 3, 2023. Timothée Chalamet will play Paul Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson will play Lady Jessica Atreides, Javier Bardem will play Glossu Rabban Harkonnen, while Florence Pugh will play Princess Irulan Corrino.

Paul Atreides' mythic journey as he reconciles with Chani and the Fremen is explored in Dune: Part Two, which is about to conclude. He is on a warpath of revenge against the men who murdered his family. He endeavors to avoid a terrible future only he can imagine.
