SZA was named R&B Artist of the Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards. On Monday night (March 28) Lenny Kravitz presented the annual event, honoring all things music from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The chart-topping song was named R&B Song of the Year.
Future, Tems, and Drake are the winners of "WAIT FOR YOU"; Wizkid and Tems are the winners of "Afrobeats Artist of the Year," with Drake being named Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, Latto and GloRilla being named Best New Hip-Hop Artist, and Muni Long being named Best New R&B artist.
During the annual event, Doja Cat, Beyoncé, Bad Bunny, Columbia Records, and Harry Styles were named winners.
LL COOL J, P!NK, Latto, Muni Long, Damar Hamlin, H.E.R., Joel McHale, Jordan Davis, Nicole Scherzinger, Phoebe Bridgers, TLC, and others made special appearances.
Joel Gallen, for Tenth Planet, and John Sykes, Tom Poleman, and Bart Peters, for iHeartMedia, are executive producers of the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards, which will be available to stream now on Hulu until April 17.
