However, some patch notes for the game have been leaked early, suggesting an upcoming 120Hz mode that will make things even faster.

Gran Turismo released an unintentional patch a few hours ago to the general public, and while the original is in Japanese, someone translated one of the sections to indicate that the title might be getting the much-awaited 120Hz mode.
It's possible that games like Forza on the Xbox Series X might be able to promote the feature without any effort, and it's safe to say that Polyphony and Sony are yet to officially release anything.
