Bloober TeamThe Polish studio that is currently working on a remake of Silent Hill 2 has written a statement addressing two issues that have recently concerned him, the news about the game's sales forecast and the development progress.
As you may recall, we reported Bloober's assertions that Silent Hill 2 would sell 10 million copies, but the company claims that the original sentences had a different meaning from what we saw, and that there were some translation errors.
"Some recent statements have been decontextualized due to translation errors," the Bloober Team wrote in a Twitter post.
"Our Messages did not include sales estimates for specific titles: Projections related to Silent Hill 2 spoke to the potential success of the types of games we are focusing on in the future."
"It is also false that Silent Hill 2 has been released. Regardless of the stage of development, all of our efforts are directed towards achieving the highest possible quality for the finished product, the quality that Silent Hill 2 lovers deserve."
"We are aware that players are eager for further information about Silent Hill 2, and as soon as changes are available, we are sure that Konami, the publisher of the game, will share them with users."
