Below is a gameplay video of the game:

In the tears of the Kingdom video, Aonuma introduces players to new interactivity-focused abilities. First, the Recall ability allows players to replay objects' movements, particularly when they want to explore distant locations, such as the Sky Islands.

Fuse is a useful skill for combatants because it allows players to combine items into a compound implement. For example, combining a tree branch with a boulder with Fuse creates a rock-on-a-stick that is both stronger and more damaging than a tree branch. A Keese Eyeball fused with an arrow produces a homing arrow that can target nearby enemies.

The Ascend ability allows players to climb up any visible roof instead of manually scaling it. This gameplay video illustrates how Link can use objects from the environment to construct a raft and other implements.

Tears of the Kingdom will be released on the Nintendo Switch on May 12th. Stay tuned here at MP1st for further coverage.
