Star Trek: Strange New Worlds launched on Paramount+ on May 5, 2022, and its first 10-episode season will run until July 7 due to good reviews from critics for its episodic storytelling methods and cast, and it has been renewed for a second season.

Strange New Worlds Plot and Cast for Star Trek
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 will continue from the start, as Season 1 concluded.
Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the USS Enterprise explore new worlds in the 23rd century before Star Trek: The Original Series. It incorporates Mount's narration during each episode's opening credits, along with a contemporary interpretation of that series' episodic narrative and 1960s designs.
Season 1's main cast members are expected to reprise their roles. Anson Mount, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, Bruce Horak, and Rebecca Romijn are among those who are expected to join the cast.
The release date for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 has been set.
Chris Fisher, the director and producer of Strange New Worlds, was the first to announce that production had been completed on July 1st, 2022. Due to this expedited schedule, the second season of the series should premiere sometime in the first half of 2023.
The second season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is expected to include six episodes, as previously reported.
