Madonna remains one of the most well-known singers in the music industry. Despite her over 60 years of age, she can still heat things up whenever she wants to. However, she is scheduled to conduct the "Celebration Tour" in Nashville this winter as part of Tennessee's new ban against drag performers.
The winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 8, Bob the Drag Queen, will take the stage on Monday. However, the performers may face consequences if they perform in front of a group that is not made up.
Madonna announced the next stage of her musical tour and her Nashville concert on Instagram. She also touched on the various bills that are being proposed by legislatures throughout the country.
The Tennessee legislature has just passed legislation regulating "adult cabaret performance." The bill now includes "male or female impersonators," which states that the act is "adult cabaret."
A first offense would be regarded as a misdemeanor, which is punishable by a $2,500 maximum fine and/or prison term. Other offenses could be felonies, which may result in a six-month prison term. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News for more information on the upcoming concert.
