Nintendo has announced the end of its Wii U and 3DS digital stores ...

Nintendo has officially closed its digital stores Wii U and 3ds last year, following a warning about such an event. Separate elements of stores began to be turned off last spring, making it no longer possible to use the card to replenish the account eShop on Wii U and 3DS from May 23, 2022.

Users would still be able to re-download games and other content after a store closure.

If users have left unclaimed funds, they may transfer them to a Switch account, which will remain active till March 2024.
