Tyrese Gibson, 44, was shocked to learn that her late boyfriend, Zelie Timothy, was his "type" during an Instagram Live, broadcast on March 26 (watch the video here). "My type is actually Paul Walker, my type isn't white."
Zelie continued to cling to his shoulders as he said, "Don't touch me!" "His personality was fine, but he didn't understand the Instagram models," Tyrese said.
Tyrese asked Zelie if she would rather have Paul than him. “You didn't want me, I just said he was prettier,” she replied, referring to her younger brother. At the end of the video, the brunette content creator assured her boyfriend, "I'm done."
Zelie's confession was refuted by several fan accounts on social media, while another wrote, "You can see his soul leaving his body..." The couple recently celebrated their two-year anniversary on March 1, which Tyrese's girlfriend documented via Instagram.
Tyrese revealed how he and Zelie first met online in October 2022. "It was strange, because she just had such a soft-spokenness." They had a daughter, Soraya Lee, 4, and their ex-husband, Norma Gibson, shared Shayla, 15, with them.
