Harvey Smith of Arkane Austin talks about his next vampire shooter's "slow" pace in order to reassure supporters of his work with Bethesda.
Arkane Austin, Redfall's creative director, turned to her previous experience with Xbox Game Pass with Forza Horizon 5 to gain valuable insights into the game's narrative and gameplay:
Smith explains that a "slow start" like what is offered in Dishonored is different from what is offered in Forza Horizon 5, but players still enjoy it because they have very different tastes. We aim to engage players with reflective exploration, an introspective narrative, and a game rhythm based on inferences that will be drawn as the story progresses."
Redfall will be released on PC and Xbox Series X on May 2 | S.
