We thought gaming smartphones were a new trend that would fade out when gaming smartphones first appeared. However, ASUS is about to launch the seventh iteration of its ROG Phone lineup, the ASUS ROG Phone 7.
According to ASUS, the launch of the ROG Phone 7 will take place on the 13th of April, which, according to Android Central, is slightly earlier than the company's previous gaming handset, the ROG Phone 6.
While little is known about the ROG Phone 7's specs, there is a good possibility that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be used in the ROG Phone 7.
Unless ASUS decides to increase the refresh rate even higher, we also expect similar, if not better, cooling systems as well as software features that will enhance the mobile gaming experience.
Either way, there should be further information in the future weeks, so make sure to check back with us on the 13th of April for all the official information.
