According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his latest "Power On" newsletter, iOS 17 was expected to be a maintenance update.
Apple's focus on the development of a mixed-reality headset, Gurman claimed, may make iOS 17 a smaller iOS update than the ones we've seen over the previous few years. However, Gurman claims that a shift in strategy has resulted in several new features for iOS 17.
iOS 17 will be unveiled at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in June ahead of a fall launch.
