Below is an eight-minute gameplay video:

UFL, a soccer simulation game developed by Unreal Engine 4, is hoping to compete with EA Sports' FIFA and Konami's eFootball titles. The gameplay footage above is taken from the January 2023 alpha build of the game, and shows off the second half of a 1-0 match.

UFL's overall game pace is slower than FIFA, but shot speed appears to be comparable to that of FIFA. Passes, air balls, and crosses are all more linear and driven than one would expect in FIFA.

UFL holds value as a decent soccer simulation in and of itself, although it isn't quite as good as other popular games in the genre. The developers acknowledge (and provide humorous examples of) the bugs present in the game in its current stage of development, and promise that the title's quality will improve dramatically over the next months, especially once the new animation system is fully implemented.

When the UFL will be released on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One later in 2023, it will be released.
